Land Acknowledgment

Charlie acknowledges that it is located on traditional land that has been inhabited by the Anishnaabeg, Wendat, and Haudenosaunee peoples, and is adjacent to the Kanien’keha:ka (Mohawk) community of Tyendinaga. We give thanks to the generations of Indigenous peoples who have cared for this land for thousands of years. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic and ongoing connection to this land. Today, this region remains home to many First Nations and Métis peoples, and we are grateful for the opportunity to gather, work, and continue the stewardship of this land.
